Wieser Electric ("we", "us") is an electrical contracting business operating from 50 Patrick St, Kingston, Ontario K7K 3N8. This policy explains how we handle personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you call us, use the booking assistant on this site, or send the contact form, we collect the information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, service address or postal code, and the details of the work you are asking about.
Why we collect it
We use it only to respond to your enquiry, quote and schedule work, obtain Electrical Safety Authority permits where required, invoice you, and keep the records a licensed contractor must keep. We do not sell personal information.
The booking assistant
The voice booking assistant on this site is provided by a third-party service, Booked. Conversations you start with it are processed by that provider on our behalf so that we can schedule your appointment. Do not share payment card details or other sensitive information through it.
Consent and email
Contacting us is your consent for us to reply about your enquiry. Under Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL), we will not send you promotional email without your express consent, and every such message includes a way to unsubscribe. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing dave@wieserelectric.ca.
Retention and safeguards
We keep job and invoice records for as long as tax, warranty and safety obligations require, then dispose of them securely. Access is limited to the people who need it to do the work.

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or complain about how we handled it.
